Paris .. Saudi -French talks for cooperation in mining and minerals
The meeting affirmed the strength of economic relations between the Kingdom and France, the importance of expanding the horizons of joint cooperation between the two countries in a sector, and the exploitation of mutual opportunities in the field of biomedics, noting the pivotal role of building international partnerships in promoting the sustainability of the global mining sector.
Transfer mining technology
The meeting discussed opportunities to exchange experiences and transfer religious technology between the two countries, and strengthened the joint commitment to strengthening the flexibility of supply chains, and supporting sustainable growth in the mining and critical mineral sectors in both countries, especially with the announcement of the Saudi Council of Ministers yesterday its approval to declare intentions between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry to enhance cooperation in the field of critical minerals.
The meeting pointed to the role of the mining sector in diversifying, and the third pillar of the national industry according to the vision of 2030, and reviewed the comprehensive strategy of mining and the qualitative opportunities it provides, and the competitive advantages of the mining investment environment in the Kingdom, in addition to the possibilities and incentives provided to facilitate the practice of business.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources called on the ministerial delegate to supply the French strategic minerals and metals to participate in the fifth edition of the International Mining Conference, which will be held in the capital, Riyadh, next January.
