“Tamkeen” supports the career development of 21 Bahraini in “Al -Madinah Glass”

The Labor Fund “Tamkeen” announced the support of increasing the wages of 21 Bahraini employees at the “Al -Madina Glass” company, which constitutes more than 50% of the Bahraini employees working in the institution. This comes within the wages program with the aim of motivating employees and enhancing their job development in private sector institutions.

As Tamkeen support for the national cadres operating in the “Al -Madinah Glass” company comes in line with the strategic priorities of the Labor Fund for the year 2025, which is to enhance the status and competitiveness of the Bahraini citizen in the private sector, and to provide Bahrainis with the appropriate skills for job development in the private sector, as well as granting priority for the growth, concealment and sustainability of institutions.

On this occasion, Mr. Khaled Al -Bayat, CEO of Growth in the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), said: “We are pleased to support national institutions that are concerned with the career development of its Bahraini cadres. This support enriches the industrial sector, which is the second largest contributing sectors in GDP as it contributed during the third quarter of last year by 16%, and it is characterized by great potential for growth and more specific job opportunities for competencies Local. ” He added: “Besides supporting the increase in wages, the factory benefited from the financing program, which contributed to the expansion of the factory in the Al -Hadd area, in addition to establishing a new glass factory, which will raise the production capacity, create promising opportunities for export, and contributes positively to diversifying local supply chains.”

For his part, Ahmed Habib Abdel -Majid, the company’s human resource specialist, said: “The glass has become an essential element, as it constitutes 30% of the construction, and is used for homes and large projects. In response to the large number of demand for our products, it enriched the support of enabling our expansion plans for the factory in addition to motivating employees working in it by increasing their wages and drawing clear plans for their professional development. More than half of the Bahraini employees have been increased. The employees of the company through empowerment programs, and the factory expansion will increase in the production capacity, which positively contributes to achieving our aspirations to expand towards the Saudi market during this year.
