Because of the threat of marches … chaos at Polkovo Airport after converting 74 flights

Polkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg is witnessing a chaos after transferring 74 flights to it as a result of a temporary closure of Moscow airports due to threats to drones, which led to severe crowding at the airport.
The planes were forced to wait hours on the runway, turning it into an air traffic jam.

This situation led to severe suffering for passengers, as some of them on board the planes remained more than 6 hours without providing water or food, which led to special fatigue among the elderly and children.
The Public Prosecution for Transport in northwestern Russia intervened to monitor the situation and ensure the rights of passengers, and a field reception was organized at the airport for this purpose.
This turmoil affected more than 60,000 passengers, with more than 350 flights, including international flights.
The Russian authorities are still following the crisis, with the continued delay of flights and the accumulation of aircraft, and advised passengers to communicate with airlines to obtain the latest information about their flights.
