The UAE welcomes the ceasefire and enhancing freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden

The UAE welcomed the Sultanate of Oman to reach a ceasefire agreement, which will enhance the protection of freedom of navigation and international trade in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and to enhance opportunities for peaceful dialogue in Yemen to resolve conflicts in the region.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed its support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving security, peace and stability in the region and the world.
