The fourth session of “Made in the Emirates” starts May 19

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology revealed the agenda of the fourth session of “Made in the Emirates” and the official slogan of the event “accelerating advanced industries”, whose activities are held from 19 to 22 May this year at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.

This came during the press conference organized by the media office of the UAE government, in the Emirates Towers in Dubai, yesterday, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al -Jaber.

The new official slogan of the event reflects the spirit of innovation and industrial excellence in the UAE, and a number of major topics and axes have been allocated within the event agenda throughout its four days, each of which deals with one aspect of industrial growth at the national and international levels.

In his speech during the press conference, Al -Jaber said that “everything that the UAE has accomplished in the past years is achieved thanks to the legacy of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and the forward -looking vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and the aspiration of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him The important thing for the industrial sector, and the importance of (manufactured in the Emirates) in promoting the national industry and the Emirati national product.

Al -Jaber added that «through the follow -up and encouragement of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, we doubled the work to achieve a qualitative shift to modernize and develop the industrial sector in the country, and contribute to building a diverse, competitive, and knowledgeable economy.

On the achievements of the industrial sector, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology said: “The industrial sector has achieved many achievements during the past years, the most important of which is the high value of industrial exports in 2024 to 197 billion dirhams, i.e. an increase of 68% compared to 2020, and the cumulative value of local spending through the national content program for the industrial sector reached 347 billion dirhams.”
