The Emirates is participating in "Exceptional Arab Civil Aviation Organization"

Rabat, May 10 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates participated in the work of the extraordinary general assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, which was held the day before yesterday, at the organization’s headquarters in the Moroccan capital Rabat, in the presence of all Arab member states.
A press release issued today by the General Authority of Civil Aviation said that this meeting comes within the framework of promoting joint Arab coordination and unifying positions to support the active Arab presence on the international scene.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance the representation of Arab countries in the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) during its next session, and joint work to ensure an increase in the Arab influence in decisive decisions that affect the future of the civil aviation industry in the world.
His Excellency Saif Muhammad Al -Suwaidi, Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, stressed that strengthening joint Arab cooperation in the field of civil aviation is one of the basic pillars that the UAE adheres to, and that the state is keen to strengthen the active Arab presence in international organizations, especially the ICAO organization, which represents a vital platform in shaping global airlines.
Al -Suwaidi added that these meetings are a strategic opportunity to unify efforts and enhance coordination between the Arab countries, which contributes to coordinating and integrating Arab positions and influencing international civil aviation decisions to serve the interests of all member states.
