" Ministry of Finance " 3 of the prizes of excellence in the field of purchases and supply

Abu Dhabi, May 11 / WAM / The Ministry of Finance won 3 of the Excellence Awards in Procurement and Supply for the year 2025 granted by the CIPS Legal Institute, in appreciation of its advanced practices in the purchasing management and supply chains within the governmental purchasing system.
Al -Maliah emphasized that this victory reflects the continuous development in institutional work mechanisms, the commitment to applying the highest standards in the efficiency of purchase, and enhancing the concepts of sustainability.
The ministry explained that winning these awards came in light of strong competition at the level of the Middle East, North Africa and the world and at the level of governmental and semi -governmental and private sectors, which enhances confidence in the policies, procedures, practices and systems applied at the federal level, and confirms the extent of its consumption with innovative global practices and high competitiveness.
His Excellency Maryam Mohamed Al -Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Government Financial Management Sector in the Ministry of Finance, which received the awards, confirmed that the ministry’s victory in priorities in purchases and supply, embodies its endeavor to develop a flexible and modern institutional environment, is based on integration between jobs, innovation in solutions, and adopting the best international standards in purchasing management, noting that the ministry’s cadres were keen to translate strategic goals into midwifery initiatives For implementation, which contributed to building an effective system that supports spending efficiency and achieves value for money.
She added that the awards of the Legal Institute for Procurement and Supply are one of the most prominent international awards, and the Ministry’s victory with 3 of them confirms that its approach to strengthening its center globally by applying transparency and sustainability pays its fruits, confirming the continuation of work on developing the capabilities of work teams and expanding the scope of institutional partnerships, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of good purchase practices, and employing them as a strategic tool to support sustainable development.
The Ministry has crowned the Overall Winner Award for “Excellence at the level of all categories”, which is granted an appreciation of exceptional excellence in the practices related to purchases and the management of the supply chain in a variety of categories, including the application of advanced and innovative systems, artificial intelligence applications and electronic purchase online shopping, policies and procedures that keep pace with global developments, sustainability standards, governance, use of public money Efficiently and effectively.
This honor presented by the Legal Institute for Procurement and Supply reflects the Ministry’s integrated methodology in developing purchasing policies, promoting digital governance, and achieving integration between the federal authorities.

The third prize came in Sustainable Project of the Year, within the category of “sustainable purchases” that are granted a tribute to projects that cause concrete positive effects in the fields of the environment, social responsibility, and institutional governance.
