Abdullah bin Zayed and the Iranian Foreign Minister Relations between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Araqji, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting held today in Abu Dhabi, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in a way that serves their mutual interests, as they touched on the overall developments in the region and at the regional and international levels, and exchanged views on them.

During his meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister, His Highness discussed the developments of the talks between the United States and Iran, and the importance of this step in consolidating the foundations of security and stability in the region, and preserving international peace and security.

The meeting was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murar, Minister of State, and Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs.
