Trump arrives in Riyadh on the first foreign official visit

Today, US President Donald Trump arrived in Riyadh on the first foreign official visit since his return to the White House.

The presidential plane “Air Force One” landed in Riyadh and was accompanied by Saudi F-15 fighters before landing, according to “Agence France Presse”.

President Trump described his visit, which will include alongside Saudi Arabia both the Emirates and Qatar as “historical”, and that it will contribute to strengthening relations and cooperation in the Middle East.

The White House said Trump “is seeking to enhance the relationship with the countries of the Middle East.”
