Dubai Chambers review investment opportunities in the emirate in front of 20 Kazakh companies

Dubai, May 13 / WAM / The Dubai Chamber, at its headquarters, reviewed the elements of the promising business environment and opportunities in Dubai and the prospects for joint economic and commercial ties, in front of a delegation from Kazakh companies headed by Nur Sultan Shokanov, head of the regional council of the Businessmen Chamber of the City of Appi in Kazakhstan.
The delegation included executives and directors of 20 Kazakh companies operating in a group of sectors, including the real estate development and construction sector, the agricultural sector in addition to the information technology and the education sector.
The meeting was attended by representatives of a group of Emirati companies from various sectors to enhance inter -trade and joint investments, and bilateral business meetings were held between members of the visiting delegation and their counterparts from companies and investors from the Emirates.
His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, said during the meeting that Dubai is full of promising and varied opportunities in all vital sectors, and it is an ideal platform for growth and prosperity for Kazakh and international companies, as it provides a competitive investment environment and integrated ingredients that enhance the success of companies’ expansion at the regional and international level.
He emphasized the keenness to strengthen partnerships and links between business societies in Dubai and Kazakhstan, in a way that contributes to achieving common development goals, and committed to supporting Kazakhi companies and investors to benefit from the dynamic business environment in Dubai and conclude new promising partnerships, which contribute to enhancing the movement of trade and inter -investment.
The meeting comes in light of the growing trade relations between Dubai and Kazakhstan, as the value of non -oil bilateral trade reached 20 billion dirhams, a growth of 43% on an annual basis.
In an indication of the increasing attractiveness of Dubai for investors and companies from Kazakhstan, 247 new Kazakh companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce membership during the year 2024, bringing the total active Kazakh companies registered in the chamber membership at the end of last year to 691 companies, with a growth of 34.4% compared to the number of active companies registered in the chamber membership at the end of 2023.
In the context of efforts to enhance economic ties and support the growth of business, trade and investment relations between the business community in Dubai and Kazakhstan, the Dubai World Chamber opened during the year 2024 new representative external offices in the city of Abayhi in Kazakhstan, working to support the Kazakh business community and attract companies and investors from Kazakhstan and Central Asia countries to Dubai.
