Granting a group of doctors is traffic exceptions and exceeding the speed of the road

The Ministry of Interior stated that doctors of thirteen vital specialties can register and benefit from a “and louder” service, which facilitates their transportation to their places of work in hospitals in emergency situations, without any obstacles, with special traffic exceptions for them that include increasing the speed of their vehicles by no more than 40 km per hour from the speed prescribed on the road, as well as using the road shoulder, and obtaining support for traffic patrols.

The team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, launched in July 2020, “Ben and his Excellency” for emergency cases, which enhances the speed of the response of doctors working in the first defense line at emergency cases, based on the leadership vision that the UAE is the best countries in the world in various fields, and to provide government services that meet the needs of customers, outperform their expectations and achieve their happiness.

The “Ben Wagra” service provides a certain group of doctors with specific specialties when they are summoned by hospitals for maximum emergencies, with the aim of facilitating their access to hospitals (by their own cars), by giving them facilities and exceptions on the road as quickly as possible, while ensuring their safety and the safety of road users, and avoiding any delay as a result of traffic congestion, and ensuring keenness to enhance the response of workers in the medical sectors to perform Their vital work, and the commitment to the highest safety standards during the emergency response to their workplaces.

The Director of the Services Development Department at the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Dr. Saeed Mohamed Al -Dhahouri, said during a new episode of “Interior Podcast” that the “Ben Wagra” service targets a group of doctors, to facilitate their arrival in hospitals in emergency situations, pointing out that when the doctors move to the hospital in response to an emergency situation, they always face challenges in the road, and then the launch of the service came to facilitate their access to the hospital in terms of traffic with ease to ensure their safety And the safety of others from the road goers. “

Al -Dhahouri explained that the “Ben Wagra” service does not include all doctors, but rather is targeting doctors from vital specialties, and the doctor can register in this service when meeting a set of requirements, the first of which is that it is among the groups that can benefit from this service, which is to be within the vital, approved specializations, and there are 13 approved vital medical specialties.

Among the other conditions, that the doctor has prior approval, to use the service, and he has a valid medical license, and to pass the training course, to drive the vehicle in emergency cases.

Al -Dhahouri explained the mechanism of the service of the service and begins when the perfume is called by the hospital, for an emergency condition, where he enters the “Ben and Warat” service, on the smart application of the Ministry of Interior, and he registers the service, so we appear in the operating room, and then we follow the doctor until he reaches the hospital, and facilitates any obstruction that you may face during his journey, and the traffic patrols that follow his movement facilitate traffic in front of him And guidance by the operating room of the Ministry of Interior.

Before moving from his place to the hospital, the doctor also installs a “tablet” tablet in the form of a triangle on his vehicle, so that he is distinguished and known to the public from the road users, as a doctor who moves to the hospital in response to an emergency, and then they must make room for him and facilitate the movement of his access to the hospital.

He pointed out that there is a ministerial decision issued in 2020 with the number 248 organized all exceptions regarding the use of the road shoulder, and in the context of this, the doctor was awarded in the “Ben Wagar” service after the exception, such as using the road shoulder, and the bus path and to speed up the car over the legal speed, not exceeding 40 kilometers per hour.

Al -Zahouri stressed that the ultimate goal of service is to save a patient in the hospital and wait for this doctor. Some may consider that the service benefits the doctor, but the truth is that the biggest beneficiary is the patient who is waiting for the doctor to save his life.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Interior has developed the “Bin Raqqa” service in cooperation with the governmental government agencies, and continues to develop since the start of the service, and there is a joint committee and agreements signed to enhance the process of development and improvement in the service.

He pointed out that the high demand for registration and benefit from service by doctors, noting that the target is the registration of 97 % of the targeted doctors, and this was done in the previous period, and we aspired to expand the service to include larger doctors than the current range, and the default time has been reduced to reach the service by 30 %

He pointed out that the service has faced some challenges at the beginning of its inauguration, and it is linked to the development and improvement of this service, adding that the process of development and improvement is continuing the service, noting the extensive praises that the service received through the doctors who used it, as well as some countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council for this service, and their desire to apply them to them.

He stressed that the “Ben Wagra” service confirms the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to improving the quality of life for citizens and residents in the UAE, and that the aim of it is to save the spirit of a patient inside the hospital, calling on the members of the public to cooperate when seeing the doctor’s vehicle on the road, which is distinguished by the green port, as it is heading to the hospital, to save the life of a patient, and it is assumed that the road is being made and contributing in one way or another in helping him to reach the hospital at the appropriate time.
