The “Specialist” receives a Swiss delegation to discuss international partnerships and accelerate innovation in specialized care

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh received a Swiss delegation headed by the State Secretary for Education, Research and Innovation, Dr. Martina Hirayama, as part of an official visit aimed at discussing opportunities to establish strategic partnerships, and expand the prospects for cooperation in the fields of scientific research and innovation in specialized care. Among the most prominent scientific and research institutions in Switzerland, among them the Swiss National Fund for Science and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, one of the most prominent technical institutes globally, in addition to a number of experts in related fields.

The visit comes in the context of a growing interest from the global health leaders in the pioneering model presented by the “Specialist” in combining clinical experience and modern technologies, after he recorded qualitative medical achievements, the most prominent of which was the first complete heart transplant using robots in the world, and to perform the first heart and liver transplantation using robots in the world, which strengthened his position as an international reference in specialized health care.
