His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, congratulated the Emirati mother on the occasion of “International Mother’s Day,” which falls on March 21 of every year, stressing that His Highness is the safety valve in her family and a source of strength for her country and society, especially in times of challenge.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, in a blog post on his official account in “X” yesterday: “On the occasion of Mother’s Day, a tribute of respect and appreciation to every Emirati mother who raised her children to love the country and sacrifice for it. I also salute the mothers of the martyrs, symbols of sacrifice, pride and dignity, who gave their lives in sacrifice for the homeland, and embodied the courage, sacrifices and always honorable stances of Emirati women.”

His Highness added: “The mother is the safety valve in her family and a source of strength for her country and society, especially in times of challenge. Happy new year to all mothers in the Emirates and the world, and may God bless their lives and their efforts to continue their noble educational, family and societal mission.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Court, also congratulated mothers on the occasion of “International Mother’s Day,” stressing that the role played by the Emirati mother in building the family consolidates authentic values, enhances the cohesion of society and preserves its identity.
