The Minister of Investment in the United Kingdom meets the officials of the Economic Development Council

Baroneh Bobby Gustavalon, Minister of Investment in the United Kingdom, visited the headquarters of the Council of Economic Development in the Gulf of Bahrain, accompanied by an official delegation that included His Excellency Ambassador Alessrement UK Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and met with His Excellency Mrs. Nour Bint Ali Al -Khalif, Minister of Sustainable Development, CEO of the Economic Development Council and senior council officials.

During the meeting, His Excellency Mrs. Nour Bint Ali Al -Khalif indicated during the meeting to the continuous growth of economic relations and opportunities for investment with the United Kingdom, and her happiness reviewed the delegation’s competitive advantages of Bahrain and strategic investment opportunities, and prominent successes that contributed to the consolidation of Bahrain’s position as a leading destination for investors from around the world.

The Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom have firm bilateral relations that extend for more than two centuries, and are characterized by continuous cooperation in the fields of trade and investment. The recent years have witnessed remarkable growth in non -oil trade between the two countries, to reach a value of $ 645 million in 2024, up 60% compared to its level of $ 402 million in 2020.
