Currency rates .. The dollar is declining with the slow growth growth growth
The dollar fell on Thursday after the issuance of economic data that showed the slowdown in the retail spending in April, which reflected the impact of economic blurring on morale.
The US Department of Commerce explained that retail sales increased by (0.1%) only last month, after its rise by (1.7%) in March, an increase in part due to the decline in the purchases of goods such as cars due to the announcement of customs duties.

The price of the dollar
The product price index for final demand decreased by 0.5% due to the decline in demand for air travel and hotel accommodation, as a result of commercial policies and their negative effects.
The dollar index, which sets up six main currencies, decreased by (0.11%) to (100.89), while the euro rose slightly to (1.1176) dollars.

The American currency against the Japanese yen fell by (0.73%) to (145.68) yen, while the pound rose by (0.23%) to ($ 1.329), after the British economy grows at a stronger rate than expected in the early (2025).
