$702.2 million in DAE’s profits in 2025

DAE achieved net profits of $702.2 million during the past year 2025, an increase of 47.1% compared to $477.5 million in 2024.
A press release issued by the company, today, stated that pre-tax profits during the year 2025 amounted to $761.6 million, an increase of 43% compared to the previous year, while total revenues rose to $1.725 billion, a growth of 21%, driven by the significant expansion of the aircraft fleet and the increase in leasing and maintenance revenues.
The company recorded an adjusted pre-tax profit margin of 26%, compared to 23.2% in 2024, while the pre-tax return on equity rose to 13.4%, compared to 11% in the previous year.
In terms of the financial position, total assets increased to about $16.55 billion at the end of December 31, 2025, compared to $13.03 billion at the end of 2024, as a result of large aircraft acquisitions during the year, including aircraft acquired through business merger deals.
During the year 2025, DAE acquired 280 aircraft, including 261 owned and 19 managed, and sold 111 aircraft, including 94 owned and 17 managed.
The company also signed 273 leasing, extension and modification agreements, reflecting the strong demand for its fleet and services.
The total number of aircraft owned, managed and on order within the company’s fleet reached 678 aircraft of various models.
At the engineering sector level, the number of reserved working hours exceeded 1.8 million hours, while more than 260 maintenance inspections were completed during the year.
Fairouz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, said that 2025 marked an exceptional milestone in DAE’s journey, and that the 21% growth in revenues was directly reflected in profitability margins and return on equity.
He added that the company continued to adhere to strict discipline in managing the balance sheet, especially with regard to capital adequacy, financing structure, and liquidity indicators, as it succeeded during the year in raising long-term debt financing worth $3.9 billion through a group of public and private deals.
