He climbed to the final qualifiers at the level of the Republic of Djibouti, ten male and female students, and included the list of the first in addition to the first -placed owner, Zainab Abdel Rahman Abdullah from the seventh grade in the Saudi School – Girls, and Yahya Essam Abdel Hakim from the fifth grade in the Saudi School – Boys, and Hana Muhammad Sajah from the seventh grade in the Al -Irshad School, which weighs Yazid Muhammad Ali from the fifth grade in the Yemeni school, And Abdullah Muhammad Nour from the eleventh grade in the Bakh School, Khaled Bilal Ahmed from the tenth grade in the Saudi School – Boys, and Einachi Hussein Muhammad from the eleventh grade in Al -Najah School, and Safiya Abdo Habib from the twelfth grade in the Islamic Institute – Girls.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Muhayoub, Secretary -General of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training in the Republic of Djibouti, said that the Arab Reading Challenge initiative has made a major contribution to increasing the interest of male and female students of the Republic of Djibouti in the Arabic language, and played a vital role in motivating them to read and develop their cognitive and cultural capabilities, and enhance their communication with Arab students and the Arab cultural product, indicating that the participation of students of Djibouti in the qualifiers of the ninth session From the challenge, it received great support from the official authorities, and a wide societal interaction that contributed to the success of the qualifiers.
The student congratulated Baraa Mohamed Ahmed Saeed for winning this precious title at the level of the Republic of Djibouti, and representing her country during the final stage in Dubai, and also congratulated the first positions, all the participants and parents of students who encouraged their children to read, persevere and participate in competitions.
His Excellency appreciated the efforts of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation to spread the culture of reading among emerging generations, and its constant endeavor to implement qualitative projects to improve the educational and cultural reality in Arab societies.

For his part, Dr. Fawzan Al -Khalidi, Director of Programs and Initiatives at the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation, stressed that the Initiatives Corporation continues to develop plans and work methods to enhance cognitive competition between Arab students and provide the model environment for excellence and creativity, and to consolidate cooperation with the ministries of education in the Arab countries, in a way that contributes to achieving the institution’s mission in enhancing the value of culture and reading and building knowledge for new generations, considering that The momentum that the Arab Reading Challenge gained in its ninth session represents a milestone in the challenge march.
He congratulated the champion of the Arab Reading Challenge in its ninth session at the level of Djibouti and the first participants in the competitions, and male and female students who interacted with the reading initiative, as well as the parents of students and all schools and their educational cadres, and all shareholders in spreading the culture of reading and enhancing the association of Djibouti students in the Arabic language.
He thanked the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training in the Republic of Djibouti, appreciating its keenness to introduce the goals of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative and encourage students to participate in its qualifiers.
The Arab Reading Challenge, which was launched in the 2015-2016 academic year under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God bless him”, aims to produce a comprehensive reading and knowledge movement, consolidate the culture of reading in the Arabic language as a language capable of keeping pace with all forms of arts, science and knowledge, and encouraging emerging generations to use them in their daily dealings, developing mechanisms The self in a sound Arabic language, and the development of creative thinking skills.
The challenge seeks to enhance the importance of cognitive reading in building self -learning skills, and building the value system of young people by informing them of the values, customs and beliefs of other cultures, which establishes the principles of tolerance, coexistence and acceptance of the other.
