On the Iranian file, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed his belief in the importance of successful models, stressing that the UAE represents a model for peaceful nuclear cooperation, and he said: We concluded a nuclear agreement with the United States, known as the “123” agreement, and it is called “the golden standard”, and I really hope that the countries of the region and outside the region will look to this agreement as an example to be followed in achieving the common benefits of the two parties, By the way, the project was completed on the specified date and within the prescribed budget, and this is very rare in nuclear reactors ’projects, noting that“ this issue relates to trust and transparency, and if we can overcome these two challenges, we can achieve great achievements together. ”

His Highness said: I think that every country must respect international law, and I hope that Iran will look at President Trump’s approach as a real opportunity for the United States to open up to the Iranian people, something that can benefit the great benefit to the Iranians, but the decision in the end is due to them.

The situation in Gaza
On the situation in Gaza, His Highness stressed that the UAE provided more than 42 % of the total international aid to Gaza during the past two years, and said: In light of this war, if Ibrahim’s agreements were not existing between the UAE and Israel, and the vital role he played and launched by President Trump, we would not have been able to deliver this amount of aid to Gaza.

On his recent meeting with the Palestinian Authority and their openness to participation, His Highness said: I think they feel very frustrated by the current situation, and you can touch this from them, they want an end to this war, but about their future role, this depends on the positions of the United States, Israel and the rest of the parties, whether in their support or vice versa, but in the end, the Palestinians must be the ones who manage their affairs themselves.

In response to a question about the possibility of the American President to trust the Syrian President Ahmed al -Shara, His Highness said that it is too early to use the word “trust”, that the Syrian president and his government say the correct matters, but it is clear that they do not have the ability to implement what they declare, and I hope that the lifting of sanctions will contribute to enabling them to achieve these obligations, but it must be verified, as President Reagan once said (trust).

In the reconstruction file after the conflicts, His Highness said: I think that the region has started to give up the funding approach easily, it depends on the conditions and conditions of reconstruction, is there an appropriate assortment from the countries concerned?
