Bahrain topped the Arab and Gulf countries in the rate of home ownership by 83.18%, according to a statistic revealed by the magazine CEOWorld published in the latest press report published on its platform, the arrangement of countries globally appears according to the rate of home ownership for 2025, according to the ownership rates compared to the population.
Albania was the first in the world in the average ownership of the house 95.2%, while Bahrain ranked 42 globally and the first in the Arab world and Gulf with a rate of houses for 83.18%, followed by the Sultanate of Oman by 83%to rank 45 globally and the second in the Arab and Gulf, then Sudan, Morocco and Jordan.
Kuwait ranked sixth in the Arab world and Gulf with a rate of 77.69%, then Qatar by 69.9%and Saudi Arabia 62.8%, and the UAE is in the last Arab rank with a rate of ownership of up to 41.7%, and according to the report that a list of countries is classified according to the average ownership of the houses, the rate was calculated by dividing the number of housing units owned by the total number of housing units in the region Specified.
The report pointed out that the purchase of an average house in the UK is 9 times more expensive than the average annual salary. In contrast, the average American house price is 8 times the average annual salary. This means that buying a property for British citizens is much more difficult than for their American counterparts. In the United States, residential owners occupy 65.9% of real estate, while the remaining percentage is 34.1%. Less percentage of home ownership in the United Kingdom is recorded, as the ownership rate of the house does not exceed 63.2% of the total residential real estate, while a large percentage of real estate is postponed, 36.8%. This difference is reflected in the proportions of home ownership between the two countries.
The United States and the United Kingdom have relatively low real estate ownership rates compared to other countries, as they occupy the 172 and 182 ranks, respectively, on the list of the best countries in the world. The high ownership of the house ownership generally indicates the ease of owning a house in a particular country. Therefore, it may be useful to explore the opportunities that other countries offer to own homes.
