“Baghdad Declaration” calls for an immediate cessation of the war on Gaza

The “Baghdad Declaration” issued by the 34th Arab Summit called for the immediate stopping of the war on the Gaza Strip, and the suspension of all hostilities against civilians and its categorical rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people.
The Arab leaders emphasized the support of the Palestinian people against them by establishing an independent state on the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital and the centrality of the Palestinian issue, the need to provide urgent humanitarian assistance, support the Arab -Islamic reconstruction plan, establish a special fund for the reconstruction of Gaza, and to sponsor orphans and the injured.
And the “Baghdad Declaration” confirmed its rejection of attempts to Judaize Jerusalem and strongly condemn all illegal practices pursued by Israel, as an occupying power, which violates the rights of the Palestinian people to freedom, dignity and life, in an explicit violation of international laws and heavenly laws.
He also renewed his support for the unity, safety and sovereignty of Arab countries that witness crises calling for political solutions and a comprehensive national dialogue, and the suspension of external interference.
The Arab leaders renewed their full support for the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates over its three islands: Greater Tunb, Al -Minor, and Abu Musa, which is occupied by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The declaration called on Iran to respond to the UAE initiative to find a peaceful solution to this issue, whether through direct bilateral negotiations or by resorting to the International Court of Justice, in accordance with the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter, and in a way that contributes to enhancing confidence and consolidating security and stability in the Arab Gulf region.
On the development side, the advertisement approved strategic initiatives that include food security, artificial intelligence, women’s empowerment, technical education, and renewable energy, as well as strengthening Arab cooperation to confront regional and international challenges.
In the security file, he stressed the rejection of terrorism in all its forms, and the need to confront the speech of hatred and extremism, welcome to establish the National Center for Combating Terrorism in Iraq.
He also expressed his support for the nuclear talks between the United States and Iran, appreciating the role of the Sultanate of Oman in facilitating it.
He called for the removal of weapons of mass destruction from the Middle East.
