35.19 billion dirhams Dubai real estate sales since the beginning of May

Real estate sales in Dubai recorded about 35.19 billion dirhams from the beginning of this month until the end of the trading the day before yesterday (Friday), achieving remarkable activity indicators in demand through deals for sale, with a total number of 9684 transactions.

A monitoring conducted by «Emirates Today» based on the indicators of the Dubai Land Department data in Dubai, that transactions have been recorded to sell housing units since the beginning of this month, totaling 7685 units, while the total number of buildings that was sold 461 buildings, in addition to registering the sale of 1538 lands.

The data indicated that the total value of the mortgage transactions that were registered during the same time period amounted to 7.47 billion dirhams, including mortgages for 1570 housing units, 281 buildings, and 536 lands.

The data indicated that the total value of real estate gift transactions since the beginning of this month amounted to 2.12 billion dirhams, recording the number of transactions amounted to 486 transactions, which included 376 housing units, 39 buildings, and 71 lands.

And it showed that a number of different real estate regions and complexes in Dubai have witnessed a turnout in the real estate sales sector since the beginning of May, most notably the Emaar Complex for the south, and the areas of Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
