Opposition "Compete" For employment, thousands of opportunities provide citizens in 2025

Abu Dhabi, May 18 / WAM / The Council of Competitiveness of the Emirati cadres, through the “Nafs” program, continues its efforts to enable citizens to act the active in the labor market in the private sector, through a series of initiatives and events that included specialized employment exhibitions organized in both Al Ain and Al Dhafra during the first third of the year 2025.
The first months of this year witnessed the organization of a number of employment fairs with the aim of exploring job opportunities, and the exercises available in the labor market, as they attracted each of the exhibition “Manufacturers” in Al Ain, “Enrichment of Employment” and the “Al Dhafra Ambassador for Employment 2025” exhibition, more than 8,500 citizens and citizenships of job seekers. The three exhibitions combined more than 1500 job vacancies were presented with their various specialties and sectors, as well as conducting a large group of immediate interviews that contributed to accelerating the pace of employment and enhancing the readiness of national cadres to engage in the labor market.
In this context, the organization of the fourth edition of the exhibition “Manufacturers” in Al -Ain came during February, in a strategic partnership that included the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Emirati cadres competitive council, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, along with “ADNOC”, the “Manufacturers” program, Abu Dhabi councils, and the “Etisalat” group.
During the exhibition, more than 500 job opportunities were presented, with the participation of 23 members of the “National Content” program, and the event also witnessed the presence of more than 3000 citizens and citizenship of job seekers, during which more than 10 thousand immediate interviews were conducted distributed in important specializations that included engineering, information technology, accounting, supply chains, design, targeting various academic qualifications.
Al Ain also witnessed the organization of the “Ithraa” exhibition for employment, which came as a result of a joint cooperation between the Emirates Financial Institute, the Emirates Central Bank and “Enforcement”, with the participation of more than 25 entities from the financial and government sectors, and contributed to enhancing employment and training opportunities, especially in the financial and banking sector, by providing more than 300 job vacancies.
The organization of the exhibition comes within the framework of the “Enforcement” initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Ain region, in December 2024 for employment in the private sector in the Al Ain region, aimed at providing 2000 jobs, including 1700 job opportunities in the financial and banking sector, in addition to providing 2000 training opportunities.
In the Al -Dhafra region, the “Al -Dhafra Ambassador for Employment 2025” exhibition was held with the participation of more than 40 entities from the government and private sectors, targeting the region’s youth from graduates and job seekers; Where more than 2,500 job researchers attracted, during which more than 680 job opportunities were offered, and he received more than 1500 CVs, reflecting the great demand from young national cadres to explore new professional prospects.
On the developments of the “Nafs” program, the latest data issued by the Emirati cadres competitiveness council revealed that the number of citizens working in the private and banking sectors increased to more than 134 thousand citizens, while the number of beneficiaries of initiatives and incentives that the program provides 111 thousand citizens since its launch.
The data showed that more than 115 thousand citizens joined the labor market in the private sector, while more than 28 thousand operating facilities in the private and banking sectors benefited from the program.
Enforcement also supports the development of national health competencies, through cooperation with 11 academic institutions within the program of developing health sector cadres.
These numbers confirm the continuous progress in achieving the “Nafs” program, which seeks to raise the rates of qualitative settlement, provide an attractive and stable work environment for citizens, and enhance their participation in leading the economic and social development wheel of the UAE.
The program is preparing to continue its momentum during the coming period in 2025, by organizing more specialized exhibitions, and expanding the scope of partnerships with the relevant authorities, in a manner that ensures the sustainability of initiatives, and enhances the opportunities to integrate national competencies into the private labor market, in order to achieve the state’s vision of investing in people as a major pillar of comprehensive development.
