"environment" and"sail" They launch a business accelerator to promote innovation

Sharjah, February 4, 2017 – Sheraa, in the presence of Sheikha Bodour bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Centre, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bee’ah Group to launch (DARE 2.0), an internal innovation accelerator that aims to establish a culture of entrepreneurial innovation within Bee’ah and transform employees’ ideas into scalable businesses at the group level.

The memorandum was signed by Khaled Al Huraimel, CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bee’ah, and Her Excellency Sarah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center “Sheraa”.

This memorandum embodies cooperation that applies Sheraa’s expertise in business accelerators to Bee’ah’s internal innovation priorities, supporting its diverse operations in the sectors of sustainability, energy, technology, healthcare, and real estate development.

The “DARE 2.0” program enables Bee’ah’s cadres to adopt a founders’ mentality by allocating structured time, supported by guidance and resources, to develop ideas that address real operational and strategic challenges across various internal sectors. It aims to enhance a culture of innovation and encourage experimentation while keeping innovation closely aligned with business needs.

The program is offered within the framework of an organized innovation accelerator that supports participants from the stage of generating ideas through verification and building prototypes through specialized workshops, expert guidance, and active participation from Bee’ah’s leadership, ensuring that the developed ideas are commercially viable and linked to operational reality.

The new program aims to produce high-potential concepts that are applicable across Bee’ah’s operations and reflects its keenness to continuously invest in its human resources and its focus on building its institutional capabilities to innovate and develop solutions that have a tangible impact at the group level as a whole.

Khalid Al Huraimel said that true innovation does not stem only from new technologies, but rather from empowering human competencies to challenge traditional methods and build better solutions from within. He explained that “DARE 2.0” provides the framework, time, and leadership support necessary to transform ideas into a tangible reality while ensuring that these ideas are directly linked to Bee’ah’s operational and strategic priorities. It also allows Bee’ah to cooperate with “Sheraa” to introduce the methodology of business accelerators and innovative thinking to the institutional work environment, thus accelerating the transformation of ideas from concept to impact.

For her part, Her Excellency Sarah Belhaif Al Nuaimi said that the “DARE 2.0” program reflects a clear trend towards internal innovation based on valuing ideas and dealing with them with a high degree of clarity and responsibility, and that the program provides, by aligning Sheraa’s business accelerator model with the institutional environment at Bee’ah, an organized path that helps to test, develop and expand ideas in a way that supports institutional performance and contributes to achieving sustainable value in the long term.

This cooperation is an extension of Bee’ah and Sheraa’s joint commitment to promoting innovation, developing talent, and applying the principles of internal entrepreneurship to address complex challenges related to sustainability and operational processes within an institutional environment.
