I want to eliminate the causes of the conflict in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed on Sunday that he wanted to eliminate the causes of the conflict in Ukraine and “ensure the security” of Russia two days after direct talks between Kiev and Moscow is the first since the spring of 2022.
Putin confirmed during an interview with public television that Moscow’s goal is to “eliminate the reasons that brought this crisis and provide the necessary conditions for sustainable peace and ensure the security of the Russian state.”
The talks that took place in Istanbul during the current week have not led to a truce in the war in Ukraine, which has been continuing since February 2022.

Trump and Putin call
