Dubai Chambers discusses trade and investment opportunities with the Prague Chamber of Commerce

Dubai Chambers discussed ways to enhance economic relations between the business communities in Dubai and the Czech Republic, during a meeting with a delegation from the Prague Chamber of Commerce headed by Peter Mikal, President of the Chamber. The two sides affirmed their commitment to working to expand joint cooperation in the fields of investment, trade and the digital economy, in order to develop partnerships between the business communities in Dubai and the Czech Republic.
During the meeting held yesterday at the Dubai Chambers headquarters in the presence of Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, the two sides discussed the prospects for enhancing bilateral trade exchange and exploring joint investment opportunities, in addition to expanding areas of cooperation in a way that contributes to supporting the growth of trade and investment relations between companies in Dubai and their counterparts in the Czech Republic, with a focus on improving joint cooperation in the field of the digital economy. The President of the Prague Chamber stressed the interest of Czech companies in investing and expanding in the Dubai market in various sectors.
For his part, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah stressed the keenness of Dubai Chambers to advance economic relations between Dubai and the Czech Republic in a way that serves mutual interests, and to continue working on building qualitative partnerships that support the growth of business ties and open new horizons for private sector companies, in conjunction with supporting Czech companies to invest in the promising opportunities that Dubai abounds in various sectors.
It is noteworthy that 46 new Czech companies have joined the membership of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce during the year 2025. This brings the total number of active Czech companies registered as members of the Chamber by the end of last year to 145 companies, with a growth of 28.3% on an annual basis, while the value of non-oil trade between Dubai and the Czech Republic amounted to about 5.3 billion dirhams during the year 2024, a growth of 14% compared to 2023.
