Sharjah Chamber hosts the work of the second dialogue session of the Emirates Association for Franchise

The session was attended by Nour Al -Tamimi, President of the Emirates Association of Franchise, member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohamed Ahmed Al -Awadi, Director General of Sharjah Chamber, member of the Association’s Board of Directors, Saleh Lootah, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Association’s Executive Committee, members of the Board of Directors, Mona Omran, Director of the Small and Medium Enterprise Center “Trade 101” of the Sharjah Chamber, and a number of representatives of local companies and entrepreneurs.

The session reviewed a number of strategic initiatives aimed at developing the business environment and enhancing the opportunities for expansion in front of national brands at the local and international levels, as the participants discussed the most prominent axes included in the operational plan of the Association for the year 2025, especially in terms of intensifying work by setting innovative plans and initiatives in order to enhance the competitive status of commercial concession in the UAE, and to form a platform to enable effective participation Between entrepreneurs and concession owners of donors and granted, and all concerned and interested in the Franchise sector locally and internationally.

The session witnessed the signing of 3 cooperation agreements between the Emirates Association of Frances, Francorp Middle East, “Mazad” for accounts, and Patent Patents, aimed at documenting mutual cooperation relations on the development and development of commercial concession and preparing the environment supporting it as a global system for positive partnership and transferring experiences and best practices, according to which you will cooperate The association with companies in the fields of intellectual property and financial technology and providing innovative solutions in accounting and taxes, cooperation in the field of administrative consulting, analysis and technical support, developing initiatives and projects related to commercial privilege, and organizing joint workshops and events for the association’s employees.

Nour Al -Tamimi said: The session reflects a common commitment to enhancing cooperation and developing the commercial concession sector in the UAE, noting that the dialogue meetings of the association contribute to enhancing communication between the actors in the sector, exchanging experiences and knowledge, common challenges and proposing practical solutions that support the growth of the commercial concession sector and expanding its horizons at the local and international levels.

She added that in the League we seek to consolidate the UAE’s position as a pioneering regional center in the commercial concession sector, through a strategic vision that supports the competitiveness of the national economy, and focuses on supporting the business environment through providing specialized consultations, organizing training programs, and enhancing awareness of concession opportunities locally and internationally, in addition to stimulating innovation and facilitating sustainable expansion of national trademarks, through facilitating Entering new markets and keeping pace with global growth requirements.

She pointed to the association’s keenness to contribute to supporting the state’s efforts towards economic diversification, by strengthening the role of small and medium enterprises, attracting global marks, and providing new opportunities in non -oil sectors, explaining that the association provides a package of various memberships that meet the needs of individuals and companies, including membership of individuals interested in entering the world of the Franchise, and the membership of donor companies Commercial brands, membership of supporting institutions, granting multiple benefits that include promotion opportunities, obtaining specialized consultations, participating in events and exhibitions, in addition to support and guidance services.

Mohamed Ahmed Al -Awadi stressed the importance of discussing the association’s operational plan in a way that reflects its keenness to continue its efforts towards achieving its goals and tasks in terms of constantly upgrading the local business environment to expand regionally and globally, and providing more investment opportunities for entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises, raising the level of services provided to the private sector, in a way that supports government trends, and contributes to establishing the position of the UAE as a center A pioneering region for commercial concession and in line with the targets of the “UAE 2031” vision, and contributes to building a diverse, innovative and sustainable national economy.

He pointed out that the commercial franchise sector witnessed a remarkable development with the increasing number of international brands that choose the UAE as a destination to expand its business, in light of the expansion of the Franchise base in the fields of industry, services, tourism, education and health, stressing the Sharjah Chamber’s keenness to support the association’s efforts and enhance the commercial concession sector.

He added that the plan will pave the way for a greater expansion of the Emirati brands regionally and globally, and will open broad horizons for the transfer of knowledge and exchange of experiences, in a way that reflects positively on the national economy, pointing to the growth and expansion of the investment in the field of commercial concession, which is one of the promising industries.

Hamdah Al -Suwaidi, the coach of the association, presented a presentation of the outcomes of the previous dialogue session of the League and the achievements that highlighted the vision of the association aimed at strengthening the position of the UAE as a global center for the excellent work, and contributes greatly to the gross domestic product of the UAE, noting the most prominent association’s initiatives in the coming period.
The session witnessed the organization of an awareness workshop on the commercial concession and its importance, presented by Sherine Ajami, the partner at the Francope Middle East, where it addressed the importance of Franchise as an effective tool to enhance economic growth and enable entrepreneurs to sustainable expansion, offering an offer to the most prominent global practices in this field, and the role of Frances in creating promising investment opportunities, and stimulating innovation in multiple sectors within the state.
