"Fujairah Culture and Media" The school theater festival launches"The 13th version"

Fujairah, May 20 / WAM / The Fujairah Culture and Information Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, launched the thirteenth edition of the Fujairah School Theater Festival, to continue until May 22, at the Dibba Association for Culture and Arts and theater.

The event was attended by His Excellency Nasser Muhammad Al -Yamahi, Executive Director of the Authority, and the successor of Al -Takhafa, Supervisor of theatrical activity in the Fujairah Educational Zone.

Al -Yamahi stressed that the festival comes with the support and directives of Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, President of the Authority, based on his belief that the theater is a civilized mirror that reflects the development of societies.

He pointed out that the authority seeks through this event to consolidate the culture of theater and high -end arts in the hearts of new generations, because of its role in refining the personality of students and enhancing the spirit of creativity and national belonging.

The first day of the festival witnessed the presentation of a number of school theatrical performances, which was started with the “Amna Sidra” play for Al -Masa School (H1 and 2 Girls), written by Aisha Saif and directed by Sally Al -Atifi.

Four other plays were presented: “The Small Princess” of the Zayed Educational Complex in Dibba (H 2 Girls), “Zayed’s Dream” for the Rumaitha Al -Ansariya School (H1), “Second World” of the Zayed Complex in Dibba (H1), and today, the “Last Chance” of Al -Maqaba School 2 (H 2 Girls).
