King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah participates in the “Hajj in Health” campaign for health awareness before the Hajj season

King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah participated in the awareness -raising ministerial campaign “Hajj in Health”, with the aim of educating the community about the most important health requirements and habits that must be followed in preparation for the performance of the Hajj rituals, through awareness activities held in a number of commercial complexes and tourist sites in Jeddah Governorate. The campaign aims to educate pilgrims on the importance of health preparation before traveling, by adhering to the required vaccinations, and following Preventive behaviors, dealing with emergency health conditions, especially for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

The campaign included medical and consulting pillars, during which health teams provided pressure and sugar measurements, direct consultations, in addition to distributing awareness bulletins and displaying visual materials that explain the necessary health guidelines during the Hajj season.

The management of King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah confirmed that this initiative comes within the framework of the “Hajj in Health” program of the Ministry of Health, which aims to ensure the health and safety of the guests of Rahman, and raise the level of health awareness among members of society.
