“Disclosure” is a national initiative to fortify digital assets

The President of the Cyber Security Council of the UAE government, Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti, revealed the launch of a new national initiative entitled “Detection of Gaps”, which aims to pre -emptive anti -security gaps not discovered in digital systems in all institutions, indicating that this initiative also includes entities that record high compliance rates of cybersecurity standards.
The Kuwaiti explained – in exclusive statements to «Emirates Today» on the sidelines of the retreat of digital readiness, organized by the Supreme Committee for Government Digital Transformation, yesterday, with the participation of various government agencies in the country – that the initiative depends on the principle of proactivity, and is concerned with monitoring what is known as “Zero Day”, which may not be discovered despite complete compliance, and this step aims to support the security of digital assets of the state And guaranteeing its immunization from any possible penetration, through effective partnerships with a number of national bodies specialized in the field of cybersecurity.
He pointed out that most of the government agencies in the country are committed to the standards of cybersecurity, and therefore the main goal is to pre -emptive to reveal any security gaps and work to bridge them with the aim of reaching full digital security and safety.
The Kuwaiti said that the digital shift entered all sectors of the state, as well as adopting artificial intelligence to increase performance speed in all major transactions, pointing out that the Cyber Security Council monitored large figures for the transactions that witnessed a whistle of bureaucracy in accordance with the guidance of the rational leadership and the Supreme Committee for the Digital Transformation.
He added: «The results are great and honorable in these areas, including cybersecurity, which has become an integral part of digital transformation, and will not work unless there is stability in infrastructure and digital assets. He pointed out that the best standards and practical practices are being done, so that the UAE becomes the first in the indicators of virtual security in the world.
He stated that the state is currently ranked first in the world in cybersecurity, and then continues its support for this stability and digital transformation in modern technologies that we use today, in terms of compliance with cybersecurity standards, explaining that periodic evaluation of government agencies is being made according to the instructions of the Council of Ministers at an average twice annually, where large numbers have been monitored in some entities in terms of compliance with the standards by a rate of 100% in many points The main.
He stressed that preserving this distinction requires continuity in pre -emptive initiatives and innovation in digital protection tools, in a manner that ensures that the UAE remains at the forefront of the safest countries at the real and virtual levels.
