The Arab Media Summit 2025 looks forward to the future with 4 retreats and participation of 200 media

The Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, President of the Dubai Press Club, Mona Ghanem Al -Murri, confirmed during the press conference on announcing the agenda of the Arab Media Summit 2025, that the summit this year, which will be held from 26 to 28 May 2025, will appear in a new and innovative way, with a special focus on young people from inside and outside the UAE, through the distribution of creativity awards and discussing a wide range of topics through various forums.

Al -Murri pointed out that the summit will include four media retreats that focus on anticipating the future of the press and media, as these retreats will host 200 media from all over the world, representing various sectors, which enhances global dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing the media today.

It also stressed the importance of artificial intelligence in the field of media, stressing the great focus on modern technology and its impact on shaping the future of the media.

Al -Marri explained that the UAE always aspires to be a platform and a major center for the media sector, as it is making tremendous efforts in the technological sector and artificial intelligence, and focusing on the importance of benefiting from it in developing the media sector.

For its part, the Secretary -General of the Arab Media Award, d. Maitha Bouhamid, that the summit will witness the participation of 26 countries and more than 300 speakers, in addition to organizing more than 175 main sessions and 35 workshops, in cooperation with major international media institutions.

The Acting Director of the Dubai Press Club and a member of the Organizing Committee, Maryam Al -Mulla, stated that the number of registered at the summit reached 6000 participants, including media, content and media makers, in addition to the presence of more than 200 personalities from outside the Arab world, which reflects the diversity and comprehensiveness that characterizes the summit.

In conclusion, the director of the Arab Media Award, Jassim Al -Shamsi, indicated that the summit will include three main awards: the creativity award, the Arab Media Award, and the Social Communication Pioneers Award. These awards aim to enhance the UAE’s position as a major center for the media sector, and to highlight the great efforts made by the state in the field of technology and artificial intelligence to develop the media sector.
