"Abu Dhabi Energy" Quality initiatives are launched at the World Facilities Conference 2025

Abu Dhabi, May 24 / WAM / The Energy Department in Abu Dhabi announced its participation in a major supporter at the World Facilities Conference 2025, which is held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center during the period from 27 to 29 May 2025, and is organized by Abu Dhabi National Energy Company “Taqah”.

This year the conference holds the slogan “Innovation for a New Esenal in the Utilities Sector”, where it constitutes a leading international platform that brings together a group of decision makers, experts and innovation leaders in the energy and water sectors from all over the world, with the aim of discussing future directions and reviewing the latest solutions and technologies that contribute to enhancing the security and water supply security and sustainability.

The department reviews in its own pavilion under the slogan (Energy, prosperity, sustainability) a group of leading projects, policies and strategies, the most important of which is the ambition of the energy sector in Abu Dhabi for the year 2050, as well as highlighting the project “Energy Efficiency accelerators in the industrial sector”, designed to accelerate the adoption of energy saving solutions and technologies in the industrial sector, with a focus on building local capabilities by evaluating the performance of these facilities in terms of energy efficiency, The “Cooling-ARARVICE” project, which is a new model for building cooling services, without the need to buy or maintain equipment, is an ambitious program that will contribute to achieving tangible savings in energy consumption and carbon emissions.

The visitors of the pavilion will learn about the response program for the request- the second stage (DEMAND ResPONSE), which is implemented by the department with the aim of encouraging industrial and commercial institutions working in the emirate and motivating them to adjust its energy consumption during peak times, which enhances the reliability of the network and reduces costs and emissions.

The second phase of the program for the year 2025 was launched, as the Abu Dhabi Energy Department set a goal to reduce energy demand during peak hours by about 300 MW.

During the conference, the department reveals the smart platform (AD.We), which it developed in cooperation with AIQ and Presight, where it is an integrated energy and water management platform, and it relies on artificial intelligence to integrate multiple energy sources, including solar and nuclear energy and petroleum materials within a unified and effective operating system.

The platform contributes to reducing the response time by 30%, and reducing manual reports by 70%, while maintaining the reliability of energy supplies by 100%. The participation of the Energy Department has a distinctive addition from the Japanese company WOTA, which provides innovative solutions to water recycling in areas that suffer from scarcity of resources or lack an integrated infrastructure; The company displays two pioneering devices, which is a mobile hand washing device that works with water recycling technology, and WOTA BOX and is a mobile toiletry unit that works to recycle more than 98% of the water used.

The department’s participation includes signing cooperation agreements with a number of leading international companies in the energy and water sector for new development projects, reflecting the commitment of Abu Dhabi and its international partners to provide practical and sustainable solutions to energy and water challenges, and to open new horizons for advanced technologies that keep pace with the sustainable development goals locally and globally.
