Saud bin Saqr arrives in Malaysia to participate in the “Gulf -Asian” and “Gulf – Asian

On behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah arrived yesterday to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, at the head of the country’s delegation participating in the second summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf states, and the Association of Southeast Asian countries “Asian”, in addition to the three -year summit between the Cooperation Council and the “Asian” and the Republic of China. Under the slogan “inclusiveness and sustainability”, which Malaysia hosted as part of its periodic presidency of the “ASEAN” association of 2025.
His Highness was received upon his arrival in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, the Minister of Defense in Malaysia, Mohamed Khaled Noureddine, and a number of Malaysian officials.
The official delegation accompanying His Highness to the two summits includes Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment and Development Office in Ras Al Khaimah, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of State, Ahmed Al -Sayegh, Minister of State, Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murr, and member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Investment Agency, Khalil Muhammad Sharif Fulaza, and the state ambassador to the Kingdom of Malaysia, Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al -Dhahiri, the state ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and the Assyrian Association, Abdullah Salem Al -Dhaheri.
It is scheduled to discuss the two pamphlets, which will witness the presence of a number of leaders, heads of government and representatives of the participating countries, will discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Association of Southeast Asian countries “Asian”, and the People’s Republic of China, in various economic, investment, development, and political fields, as well as exploring new opportunities for cooperation, in a way that serves the aspirations of the peoples of countries to achieve development and prosperity.
This is the second summit that brings together the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Association of Southeast Asian countries, “Asian”, after the “Riyadh Summit” hosted by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2023, during which the summit was approved between the Cooperation Council and the “Asian” once every two years.
