Dubai Police is a global model in strategic leadership and digital transformation

Lieutenant second for Hungary Police, Mark Simon, praised the Dubai Police approach to the smart police work, and its operational readiness, describing it as a “global model to follow in strategic leadership and police digital transformation.”

Dubai Police said, in a press statement yesterday, that Simon participated in the second edition of the specialized diploma in police innovation and international leaders (PIL), organized by the Dubai Police General Command in cooperation with the Rochester University of Technology, along with 53 officers representing 38 countries who met in the Emirate of Dubai.

Simon participated during the program, which spanned four months, in academic sessions presented by international experts, including high -ranking officials from the FBI and the British Capital Police, and underwent strict physical exercises, and carried out collective tasks and rich field visits to knowledge and experiences.

He said: «I enabled the program to communicate with officers from around the world and from different police schools and cultures, in addition to exchanging the best experiences, and our work together within collective projects and discussed the most important challenges and future opportunities in police work.

Simon also expressed his admiration for the advanced technologies used by the Dubai Police, especially the Smart Police Centers (SPS), the “Dron Box” system to enhance the security response using the drones, and the traffic management systems supported by artificial intelligence technologies, and said: “What I witnessed in Dubai is a smooth integration of technology within the daily processes was really amazing, a model that combines efficiency and clear vision that seeks To enhance society’s confidence in police services, and I hope that this experience will inspire my country. ”

He added, “The advanced systems in Dubai Police are not limited to simplifying operations, but rather redefining the concept of police services in a comprehensive manner, which are successful applications and inspiring and wealthy models and countries must benefit from them.”
