“Human Resources” and “Higher Education” launch the electronic linking project to verify the qualifications of workers in the “private”

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched the electronic linking project to verify academic qualifications, in a pioneering step towards an integrated digital employment environment that keeps pace with the UAE vision in digital transformation and whistling bureaucracy in a way that allows employers in the private sector to ensure the validity of academic qualifications for workers electronically, whether issued inside or outside the UAE.
The project represents a new step towards providing rapid government services that meet the needs of the labor market and ensure that workers are compatible with the highest professional standards, and enhances the role of the state in supporting the work environment and making it more attractive to investments, thanks to employment services characterized by high credibility and effectiveness, in light of the integration of roles between the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to support the verification service as part of work permits and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as a major reference for academic verification The Communications Regulatory Authority and the digital government, to support the digital structure, in addition to the private sector, to ensure coordination and integration in the verification process.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for the operations of the labor market and resettlement, Khalil El -Khoury, said: “The launch of the project comes within the efforts of the Ministry to enhance the efficiency of the labor market and develop digital services for customers, which enhances the future pioneering directions of the state in the labor market and attracting competencies and ensuring the continued development of it within the highest standards of integrity and competitiveness.”
He explained that the electronic linking project to verify academic qualifications is one of the innovative projects that depend on complementarity in developing services, and to meet the requirements of the labor market in light of the accelerated pioneering developments and high competitiveness, which require specific competencies capable of meeting the requirements of the new economic stage, and the project supports the leading supervisory environment of the Ministry in reducing negative practices in the labor market.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad Al -Mualla, indicated that the new project will enhance the accuracy, speed and reliability of the process of verifying academic qualifications, allowing economic sectors to attract competencies that suit their needs and enable them to enhance their competitiveness. His Excellency said: “This initiative represents a new and pioneering step in achieving the integration between the academic trip and the requirements of the labor market, which is one of the priority axes for the ministry.”
Al -Mualla added: “The launch of this innovative service comes in line with our efforts in achieving the targets of the government bureaucracy program, and providing the best services that enhance customer satisfaction and meet their aspirations. We will continue to work with our partners in the federal and local bodies and all economic sectors to launch more innovative initiatives that enhance the contribution of the higher education sector in achieving national targets and visions.”
Dealers from employers in the private sector and qualified workers from holders of degrees from professional skills (1-4) from outside the country, according to the national framework for qualifications, can obtain service through the regulations of the Ministry of Human Resources and Digital Emiratization (website and smart application), and business services centers scattered throughout the country, based on a number of conditions and controls approved and available on the Ministry’s website. It is scheduled to be applied in the subsequent stage of the service to holders of scientific degrees of professional skills (1-4) from within the country.
The project achieves many benefits for government agencies and the private sector by ensuring the accuracy and health of academic qualifications used in employment through direct electronic verification, which ensures the reliability of employment, in addition to reducing paper procedures and simplifying the service within the ministry’s systems through a unified achievement and fees that are paid for one time, as well as enhancing cooperation between government and private agencies to ensure the efficiency of verification, which enhances the flexibility of the labor market and raises efficiency.
