Dubai, May 26/ WAM/ In a move that reflects the direction of the Dubai Media Council towards enhancing institutional cooperation and integrating efforts in supporting the media and knowledge sector, the United Arab Emirates and the Dubai Media Council announced the strengthening of the strategic partnership between them, on the sidelines of the activities of the first day of the Arab media summit organized by the Dubai Press Club at the Dubai World Trade Center, in the presence of a group of leaders of media and academic institutions at the region level.
The strategic partnership between the two sides aims to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of media and education through joint initiatives that contribute to the development of training programs and knowledge projects that serve society and establish the national identity, and to support cognitive initiatives that keep pace with accelerating media transformations and contribute to building a new generation of qualified national competencies, capable of formulating a sober media discourse that reflects the UAE’s vision and its authentic values.
Under the partnership, the two parties will cooperate in implementing specialized applied training programs for university students, supporting media coverage of research projects and major events, as well as providing field training opportunities in leading media institutions, and launching community and cultural initiatives with a national and knowledge dimension.
On this occasion, His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Supreme President of the United Arab Emirates University, stressed that this cooperation with the Dubai Media Council reflects the university’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with the leading national bodies, in a way that enhances its role as an academic and intellectual center that contributes to supporting the state’s priorities and its vision for the future.
His Excellency added that the joint initiatives allow university students to benefit from advanced experiences in the media sector, and enable them to develop their skills in an applied cognitive environment, which contributes to preparing cadres capable of formulating a contemporary media speech that reflects the values ​​of the state and keeps pace with accelerated transformations, in addition to supporting research and media innovation.

For its part, His Excellency Mona Ghanem Al -Murri, Vice President and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, Director General of the Dubai Government Media Office, stressed that the strategic partnership with the Emirates University reflects the commitment of the Dubai Media Council to enhance the infrastructure of national media, through effective partnerships with prestigious academic institutions.

Her Excellency indicated that the council seeks, through these partnerships, to enable young media competencies from modern media tools, and to supply new cards capable of interacting with its accelerating variables.
Her Excellency added: “The Dubai Media Council works to consolidate qualitative partnerships that support the UAE’s directions towards building an integrated media model that embodies its civilizational and human vision. This cooperation represents a comprehensive framework for exchanging experiences, developing skills, launching innovative media and cultural initiatives that contribute to enhancing national identity, consolidating the values ​​of excellence, and keeping pace with the rapid transformations witnessed by the media at the local levels at the local levels And the world.
