Hamdan bin Mohammed meets the Deputy Prime Minister of Oman for the Affairs of the Council of Ministers

The meeting dealt with the continuous positive development in joint cooperation in light of the directives and support of the wise leadership of the two countries represented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brother His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum pointed out that the fraternal visits between the two sides, and the continuous ministerial and government meetings reflect the great interest that the two countries pay and their wise leadership to develop bilateral relations, and to improve them in a way that supports various paths of development, especially at the economic, political, scientific, and cultural levels.

The meeting stressed the importance of continuing continuous coordination and consultation to serve common interests, and to advance comprehensive and sustainable development efforts in the two countries, and in a way that contributes to enhancing the process of joint Gulf action and promotes the desired aspirations during the next stage, from increasing the rates of trade and tourism exchanges and encouraging mutual investments and motivating the private sector to build more bridges of communication towards launching and activating joint projects, in a way that serves bilateral economic relations in various sectors Industrial, commercial and investment.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the continuous prosperity of economic relations between the two countries, while maintaining the Sultanate of Oman with its position as the second largest commercial partner of the UAE at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, where the non -oil trade exchanges between the two countries continued during the year 2024 their growth, recording more than 56.1 billion dirhams, an increase of 9.8% compared to 2023, expressing his confidence that the future holds More opportunities to develop trade exchanges and increase the level of tourism movement between the two sides in light of the various and rich elements enjoyed by the two countries.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second deputy governor of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President of Dubai Airports, Supreme President of the CEO of Emirates Airlines and the group, and Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai.

For his part, His Highness, Mr. Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, welcomed the visit of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the accompanying delegation, to the Sultanate of Oman, stressing that the visit reflects the depth and durability of the bonds of the link between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and noted the impact of this visit in pushing the partnership relations towards the horizons that serve the development trends of the two countries, and enhance their economic growth.

His Highness, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers in the Sultanate of Oman, affirmed the joint keenness to reach cooperation and partnership relations to new levels, keeping pace with the strategic goals desired by both sides during the next stage.

During the meeting, a number of issues were reviewed in common concern, the most prominent developments at the regional and international levels, the developments related to the situation in the Middle East region, and the efforts made towards finding solutions and alternatives that guarantee the return of security and stability to the region.
