The United States and Iran officially signed a memorandum of understanding to end the war

Two American officials told Axios that the United States and Iran remotely signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the war and reopening the Strait of Hormuz to navigation, and that the agreement has already entered into force.

One of the officials added that US President Donald Trump personally signed the agreement during a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles after the G7 summit.
