Launching the sixth batch of the artificial intelligence program in partnership with “Birmingham”

The artificial intelligence program launched its sixth pushed with the participation of 77 employees from the government and private sectors, as part of its efforts aimed at preparing a powerful national generation that leads the march of digital transformation in the UAE by qualifying it with the latest skills and knowledge in the areas of artificial intelligence and emerging technology, in order to enhance the state’s position as a global center for technology and innovation, and keep pace with its future directions.

The launch of the program organized by the National Program for Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with the University of Birmingham, a discussion session that included both the assistant undersecretary for the support services sector, the CEO of artificial intelligence in the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Eng. Amal Abdel Rahim, and the CEO of artificial intelligence in the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Ahmed Al -Haqani, and the CEO of artificial intelligence in the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Ahmed Al Ali, and the session was conducted from the Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and remote work applications, Marwa Al -Shaibani.

The executive presidents of artificial intelligence discussed their experiences in the artificial intelligence program, the role of the program in refining their skills and enriching their experience in the emerging fields and professional and leadership fields, and reviewed how the program contributed to expanding the horizons of their strategic thinking, and enhancing their ability to invent solutions based on artificial intelligence that contribute to the development of their sectors.

The participants emphasized that the program represents a real platform for empowerment and communication with a group of experts and decision makers, which enhances the transformation of ideas into realistic projects with a tangible impact on the system of digital transformation.

The director of a department in the Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Action Applications, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al -Mahmoud, stressed that artificial intelligence programs and initiatives aimed at promoting talent and building minds in this field are an important engine to push the UAE’s march towards the future, supported by generations of innovators in artificial intelligence and other future fields.

Al -Mahmoud said that building technological skills is an important factor for building strategic thought that enhances our capabilities to innovate and influence by collecting government cadres in a cognitive platform to communicate with the leaders of thought and experts to transform our aspirations into pioneering projects that support digital transformation and keep pace with the state’s aspirations in the leadership of the future.

The sixth batch of the artificial intelligence program is witnessing the participation of new parties, including the National Authority for Emergency and Crisis and Disaster Management, the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Center for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Ambulance Corporation, the Dubai Electronic Security Center, the Sharjah Police General Command, and the “MDC” group.

The program seeks to introduce the associates of the concepts of artificial intelligence and obstetric intelligence and its accelerating developments at the global level, and addresses future challenges and opportunities in the vital sectors, highlights the trends of artificial intelligence, and the application of large linguistic models, as well as mechanisms for creating solutions to security challenges.

It is noteworthy that the artificial intelligence program enables in its previous sessions to graduate more than 370 employees from more than 100 governmental and private entities, who occupy leadership positions in their work agencies, which includes the position of chief executives of artificial intelligence that was recently created, and the associates have worked to develop a group of innovative projects in the areas of artificial intelligence and its applications, while the program gave the associates the opportunity to enhance their capabilities and achieve Their aspirations to develop innovative ideas and projects that can be employed in upgrading the performance of various sectors, by taking advantage of the advanced technological infrastructure enjoyed by the state.
