Save a twenty -year -old with a cut in the neck at King Faisal Hospital in Makkah

A medical staff at King Faisal Hospital in Makkah Al -Mukarramah, a member of the Makkah Al -Mukarramah Health Gathering, was able to save the lives of a twenty -year -old young man who suffered a severe neck injury that resulted in cutting in the internal jugged vein.

He added that upon his arrival, he was in an unstable healthy situation, which forced emergency doctors to put the patient on the artificial respiratory system, conduct the necessary medical examinations, start blood transfusion, and present the condition to surgery doctors.

He pointed out that the operation took nearly three hours, during which the surgical team managed to control the bleeding and save the life of the patient who was then established in the intensive care department for three days under observation and then transferred to the surgery department for a period of five days, and then the hospital left in a stable health condition, praise be to God.
