"Enercap" Emirati announces the start of the production of advanced batteries and obtaining European contracts and attention

Abu Dhabi, May 27 / WAM / Ahmed Amer Omar, General Manager of “IPEX Investment PSC” and “ENERCAP” affiliated to the “Abix” group, confirmed that the company has officially started producing completely Emirati -made batteries, used in various vital fields including cars, major electricity networks for cities and data centers.
Ahmed Omar said, in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, during his participation in the World Facilities Conference 2025 in Abu Dhabi, that “Enercap” recently obtained a contract with the company “2pointzero”, and it is also in current communication with European countries such as Britain and Italy, which showed interest in using these innovative batteries.
He indicated that these batteries are characterized by the possibility of frequent operation of four to five times a day, compared to traditional batteries that do not bear more than one operation, which provides major support for electricity networks in various locations. He pointed out that the company is currently working on developing the new “Park” project between Abu Dhabi and Al -Samha, which will be fully supported by renewable energy, and stressed that “Enercap” is conducting experiences with major companies such as G42 to use batteries in supporting data centers, given their ability to protect these centers and provide high sustainability, considering artificial intelligence an essential element in the development of this sector.
Omar concluded by emphasizing that the Emirati producer is 100% idea, design and manufacturing, expressing his pride in this national achievement.
For his part, Bilal Sheikh, the main marketing director of the company “ENERCAP”, revealed that the company reviews during the conference a unique energy storage system of its kind that is the most advanced globally, and has been developed and manufactured entirely within the UAE.
He emphasized that these batteries are the first non -chemical system in the world, as it does not contain lithium, electrolyte or graphene, and depends on the principle of electrostatic energy storage, which allows them to have superior charging and high operational efficiency, as they can charge electric vehicles in less than six minutes, and have a operating age of 40 years, in addition to a high safety degree that prevents ignition.
Sheikh added that the company integrates artificial intelligence technologies within its operational system to develop the battery management system, analyze industrial data and consumer behavior, employ it in electric vehicle applications, restore energy to the network, manage renewable energy systems, and track carbon balances.
He considered that artificial intelligence has become a pivotal element in the growth of modern companies, whether in their institutional structure or their applications, stressing that “Enercap” also adopts artificial intelligence in manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, and in the use of batteries by customers to achieve the optimal use of energy.
