60 companies from Madagascar were informed of the investment benefits in Dubai

“Dubai Chambers” stressed the importance of expanding the frameworks of joint work between the business community in Dubai and Madagascar, reviewing investment opportunities in Dubai and business partnerships in front of 60 companies from Madagascar, which contributes to developing joint qualitative opportunities in various promising commercial and investment sectors.
This came during the Dubai – Madagascar Business Forum organized by the Dubai Chambers yesterday, at its headquarters, with the participation of the President of Madagascar, André Rajolina, who praised the global economic position that Dubai reached, and affirmed his country’s desire to enhance joint economic ties in many priority sectors.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al -Mansouri said: “The economic relations between Dubai and Madagascar are witnessing a prominent growth, which reflects the commitment of the two sides to strengthen bilateral partnerships and explore new horizons for fruitful cooperation, in a way that supports sustainable economic growth.”
He added that «the inauguration of the new (Emirates Airlines) service to Antanarivo, the capital of Madagascar, in September 2024, is a qualitative step to advance the efforts to develop trade and tourism between the two sides.
He stated that Dubai’s non -oil trade with Madagascar increased to 1.3 billion dirhams in 2024, compared to about 692 million dirhams in 2023, to record 90%growth, which reflects the breadth of the momentum of inter -economic relations.
In turn, during the forum, the Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, presented a comprehensive introductory presentation on the most promising sectors of inter -investment and trade cooperation, highlighting the most prominent investment opportunities available in Dubai for investors and companies from Madagascar.
