Understanding "Industry and advanced technology" And the work group of multinationals

Abu Dhabi, May 28/ WAM/ The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with the “MCBG) to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of quality infrastructure, building national capabilities, and exchange technical and cognitive expertise, in order to support sustainable industrial and economic development in the United Arab Emirates.
The memorandum was signed last week, during the activities of the fourth session of the “Made in the Emirates” platform, where it was signed by the Ministry, His Excellency Dr. Farah Al -Zarouni, Assistant Undersecretary for Standardization Affairs, and by the group His Excellency Turki bin Muammar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Multinational Companies Group”, in the presence of a group of senior officials and representatives of the industrial and organizational sectors.
The Memorandum of Understanding provides for a number of areas of strategic cooperation between the two sides, including the exchange of experts, the implementation of joint initiatives to build capacity, active participation in the measurement committees, and cooperation in developing innovative projects that support future directions for the industrial sector in the country.
His Excellency Dr. Farah Al -Zarouni said that this agreement reflects the ministry’s keenness to expand the horizons of qualitative cooperation with the private sector, especially with the leading international companies that take the UAE as a regional and international center for its operations, and through which we aim to enhance the readiness of our organizational and innovative system, and to align national specifications with international best practices, in a manner that ensures the creation of an advanced and sustainable industrial environment that supports competitiveness and growth.

For his part, His Excellency Turki bin Muammar said that the group of multinational companies is proud of this fruitful partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, which represents an important step towards achieving common visions in exchanging knowledge, promoting high -level specifications, developing flexible organizational frameworks and comprising the requirements of the future, and we renew through this memo our commitment to support the UAE’s industrial and economic aspirations through constructive dialogue and effective cooperation.
The MCBG group includes international companies with a total market value of 12 trillion US dollars, and has a deep and varied experience in major sectors that include manufacturing, energy, technology, health care, and consumer goods.
This partnership comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology to develop an industrial system based on advanced knowledge and technology, and to enhance cooperation between the governmental and private sectors to advance the wheel of organizational excellence and enhance the country’s competitiveness on the global stage.
