Understanding "Al -Fanar Gas" and"Siemens Energy" To cooperate in the areas of clean energy
Abu Dhabi, May 28 / WAM / The “Al -Fanar Gas” group, the Energy -specialized arm of “EHC Investment”, signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with “Siemens Energy”, the global leading company in energy technology, aimed at establishing joint cooperation frameworks in promoting innovation in clean energy and carbon removal in the UAE.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the sidelines of the “World Facilities Conference 2025” hosted by Abu Dhabi, in support of the Emirates Climate Neutral Strategy 2050.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the two companies will develop common solutions for clean energy, which depends on integrating advanced digital technologies into the infrastructure of the energy and industry sectors, with a focus on areas such as hydrogen, electricity converting technology into green energy (Power-TO-X), torch gas management, ports electrification and ships.
These efforts will focus on conducting accurate feasibility studies to determine widely implemented solutions and integrate them smoothly into the current energy networks, and this cooperation will be based on the global digital experiences of “Siemens Energy” to implement smart systems that improve energy efficiency, monitor emissions, and facilitate operations, which speeds up the frequency of energy transformation in a practical and measurable manner.
Khaled bin Saeed, CEO of Al -Fanar Gas Group, said that cooperation with Siemens Energy Company allows the combination of local visions and innovation at the global level, to face the most prominent challenges in the energy sector in the region.
Khaled bin Hadi, CEO of Siemens Energy Company in the UAE, stressed that the Memorandum of Understanding reflects the commitment in cooperation with the partners in the region to explore practical solutions to remove carbon, expressing his aspiration to work with Al -Fanar Gas Group to develop widely applicable solutions, in line with the long -term sustainability goals of the UAE.
