“Rental Jude” draws the future of sustainable community work in Dubai

The Dubai Corporation for Community Contributions (Jude) organized a strategic work retreat entitled “The Khald Al -Joud”, in the presence of representatives from government and private agencies, and the participation of a number of experts and community partners, in line with the goals of the general community and drawing a comprehensive future road map for the community contributions system in the Emirate of Dubai.

The Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Corporation for Community Contributions, Hessa Bint Issa Bouhamid, said: “(The retreat of goodness) represents a strategic step within the efforts of the Foundation to develop an integrated road map for the future of community contributions, reflecting the vision of the Emirate of Dubai in achieving societal sustainability, and consolidating the culture of giving and participation affecting the long term.”

She added: «We work according to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, and follow the follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, to build an integrated social and humanitarian model that reflects the societal values ​​of the Emirate of Dubai, and is not limited to financial support, but also includes participation in time, knowledge and experience, and enhances the concept of solidarity Community in the spirit of Dubai, which does not know the impossible. ”

The Director General of the Trameh Charitable Foundation, Dr. Ahmed Talk, stressed that “we must have indicators and criteria that measure our effectiveness in society, whether social or economic,” stressing that “all people in need can be enabled to have an active role in society.”

For his part, the Chairman and founder of the James Group for Education and the Farki Foundation, Sunny Farki, explained that the true measure of success is not only what you achieve, but what it contributes to, praising the government of Dubai and the UAE, including everyone who was present in the retreat. He added, “Together, we will continue to make teams for our families, for the sake of our children and for the world.”

The events witnessed an impressive and inspiring moment represented in a speech delivered by the presenter of the program “My Heart Issue”, Ghaith, in which he highlighted the importance of institutional humanitarian work, and its influence that extends in the lives of individuals and societies, stressing the necessity of concerted efforts between different sectors, to achieve sustainable goals in line with the values ​​of giving and solidarity.

For his part, the Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Action in Dubai, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Corporation for Community Contributions, Ahmed Darwish Al -Muhairi, stressed the importance of “Khaleeh Jude” as part of the initiatives that enhance the executive path of the Dubai Social Agenda (33), and aims to enable the system of community giving through innovative tools, and expanding partnerships with the public and private sectors, in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development, Dubai’s position strengthens a leading humanitarian center globally.

Al -Muhairi pointed to the most important outputs and results achieved from the retreat, which included the adoption of a set of practical perceptions that represent a strategic entrance to formulate the executive work plan for the next stage of the “Jude” platform, and to build a clear road map that redefines the role of the platform within the integrated societal system of the Emirate of Dubai.

Al -Muhairi said: «One of the most prominent achievements made by this retreat is to prepare a joint framework to align the schedules of social responsibility at the level of governmental and semi -governmental and private agencies, in a manner that ensures the integration of roles and the unification of efforts, according to local, national and global priorities. A comprehensive strategy has also been approved for various community resources management, which allows directing financial and non -financial contributions in a more effective and sustainable way, and expanding the community participation circle to include time, experience and knowledge, along with material support.

The retreat agenda included a series of specialized dialogue sessions that were distributed to four main axes, where the first axis and its title “sustaining welfare” dealt with mechanisms to advance the concept of giving to become a sustainable system, which guarantees the welfare of society in the long run, with a focus on the importance of expanding this concept to include non -financial resources such as time, experience, knowledge, and active participation from different groups of society.

The second axis, which came under the title “Publishing and Sharing”, focused on the importance of involving individuals and various sectors in designing participatory societal solutions, where the attendees discussed the importance of overcoming the patterns of traditional cooperation towards more flexible and innovative models, which are able to achieve integration between the sectors, and enhance the culture of participatory design, which opens the way for generating specific ideas, and activating new and influential partnerships.

The discussions touched on the third axis, which was titled “Enrichment and Impact”, to the necessity of align “Jude” initiatives with local, national and global frameworks, and working to build a unified framework to measure the societal impact in a scientific and effective way, translating the efforts of the Foundation at the emirate level in particular, and contributes to supporting the obligations of the UAE in general to the sustainable development goals. Participants also touched on the possible tools that would reflect this effect on the ground, in order to enhance the confidence of society and partners with the outputs of organized community work.

The sessions concluded with a fourth axis entitled “We keep pace to win”, through which it was highlighted by the importance of adopting the latest smart technological developments in the work of societal platforms, foremost of which is artificial intelligence and digital solutions, as they are basic empowerment tools in building confidence with stakeholders and providing experiences with a tangible impact.

Outputs and recommendations

The retreat’s outputs included a preliminary vision of cooperation opportunities between various sectors, with the aim of enhancing institutional integration, activating partnerships, and stimulating influential contributions by conducting the effects of impact periodically, which contributes to the consolidation of the “Jawd” platform site as a basic reference for giving in Dubai, and enhances its ability to attract leading societal initiatives, and achieve a sustainable impact.
