Archive and the National Library organize a symposium on "UAE and community empowerment"

Abu Dhabi, May 30/ WAM/ Archives and the National Library organized a symposium entitled “Emirates and Community Empowerment” within its cultural season 2025, in which he affirmed the interest of the rational leadership in the UAE in societal empowerment, which was embodied in many initiatives and programs that aim to achieve comprehensive development and advance all members of society.

The symposium emphasized that the year 2025 in the country enhances the societal empowerment of individuals and institutions, and strengthens the bonds of cohesion and societal unity, which achieves sustainable growth.
The symposium was attended by Faisal Mohamed Al Shamsi from the National Center for Counseling, and Aisha Al -Rumaithi, Director of Research Department at the Trends Center for Research and Consulting, and the symposium was held by Hind Al -Zaabi from the archive and the National Library.
Aisha Al -Rumaithi said that the secret of the achievement and the great influence of the UAE is societal empowerment; It is one of the strategic tools on which the rational leadership depends on achieving comprehensive and sustainable development, noting that societal empowerment is a way to enhance the spirit of initiative and teamwork and build strong, consistent and developed societies with the capabilities and culture of the modern era.
She pointed out that the leadership of the UAE has been keen since the establishment of the union that the human being is the focus of development, and it looks at societal empowerment as an integrated approach and an essential pillar to achieve sustainable development and build a prosperous future; Thus, it linked it to comprehensive national development.

Al -Rumaithi emphasized that man is the most important wealth, so the wise leadership in the country was concerned with qualifying it at various social, economic and cultural levels, and this is what made the Emirates experience in this regard a successful region and globally, pointing out that the state has opened new horizons to enhance the spirit of belonging and teamwork in a way that contributes to building a more aware, coherent and sustainable society.
For his part, Faisal Al Shamsi stressed that the union’s efforts to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul – is the first point for empowering man in the UAE, and the wise leadership is still going on his approach, and it supports all aspects of life, and in front of this giving and these efforts, each individual must be on the level of responsibility, and he must carry out his duty towards his society and country with deeds and sayings.
He highlighted the position of the UAE in the forefront of global indicators, and reviewed a number of areas in which empowerment had a great impact, the first of which was family empowerment, stressing that the righteous family is the first building block in building a coherent and prosperous society, and moved to the advantages of the Emirati character on social media, and concluded that this character with its positive values ​​and love for the homeland calls for pride and pride.
Al -Shamsi touched on scientific and cognitive empowerment, empowerment of national values ​​and identity, intellectual empowerment, and digital empowerment, stressing that everyone is partners in carrying the nation’s trust.
