With the grace of God, the emergency teams of the Saudi Red Crescent in the Medina region, thanks to God, managed to save a 67 -year -old Indonesian pilgrim, after suffering a sudden stop in the heart and breathing inside the Prophet’s Mosque. The Director General of the Authority’s branch in the region, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al -Zahrani, explained that the medical deportation center received a report of the state of losing awareness of the Prophet’s mosque, and immediately the ambulance teams went to the site Lying on the ground without pulse or breathing, and the response was only (2:08), which allowed the immediate start of the rescue procedures.
He added that the teams immediately started implementing the cardiac resuscitation protocol, and managed – thanks to God – to restore the pulse and stabilize the situation in the field, before transferring it to Al -Salam Hospital to receive the necessary medical care.
This intervention embodies an aspect of high readiness and field speed enjoyed by the authority’s teams, within its humanitarian message in the service of the guests of Rahman and the provision of immediate aid care in the most prominent vital sites in the region.
