The President of the State and Muhammad bin Rashid congratulate Sheikha Al -Nuwais for electing her as Secretary -General of the United Nations Tourism

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, Hikkha Nasser Al -Nuwais, congratulated her at the election of the Secretary -General of the United Nations Tourism Organization, especially since this is the first time that a woman has won this international position, stressing that this victory embodies the confidence and respect of the UAE on the international scene.

His Highness said in a post on the “X” platform, yesterday: “We bless Sheikha Nasser Al -Nuwais to elect it as Secretary -General of the United Nations Tourism Organization, and we wish her success in her international duties.” His Highness added: “This victory is proud, and embodies the confidence and respect that the UAE has on the international scene, and its important location on the world’s tourism map.”

His Highness continued: «This is the first time a woman wins this international position, which expresses the pioneering model that Emirati women offer at home and abroad, and the ability of the Emirates to attend active in international forums.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, Hayikha Nasser Al -Nuwais, congratulated her victory in the position of Secretary -General of the United Nations Tourism Organization, praising her experience for 15 years in the tourism field, and for obtaining many tourist and awards.

His Highness said in a post on the “X” platform, yesterday: “We bless the Emirates girl, Sheikha Al -Nuwais, her victory in the position of Secretary -General of the United Nations Tourism Organization … a graduate of Zayed University … and 15 years experience in the tourism field … and holds many medals and tourism and tourism.”

His Highness added: “She is the first woman in the history of the organization in fifty years to obtain this position … and aspires to make a global transformation in the tourism sector.”

His Highness continued: “Our youth and daughters represent our country and raise its name, knowledge and knowledge .. We are proud of them .. and we rejoice for them .. and we show them the world .. and we recommend that they represent the United Arab Emirates with the name, status and achievement it deserves.”
