With the start of leaving pilgrims … activating the second stage of the system of approved medical procedures for pilgrims

The UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office announced the start of the departure of the pilgrims of the House of God and the Emirati campaigns from the various airports of the country, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which coincided with the activation of the second stage of the system of approved medical procedures to deal with the pilgrims of the state during their period in the Holy Land to perform the Hajj rituals.

The office pointed out that the first stage of approved medical procedures was implemented within the UAE, and included communication with the campaigns doctors to prepare lists that include a comprehensive description and a comprehensive manner of the cases included in each campaign and the lists of lists of chronic diseases, aging diseases and pregnant women, in addition to the owners of determination and senior citizens.

He explained that the system obligated the campaign doctors to hold awareness and educational workshops for pilgrims, each according to its condition and health, then documenting these cases with updated medical reports according to the medical condition, ensuring the adequacy and quality of the medicines, and verifying the cases of appropriate medical vaccinations.

The office affirmed that the second stage that was launched today begins with the follow -up of the medical committee in the Pilgrims Affairs Office for medical cases included in each campaign in communication with the campaigns doctors and verifying the efficiency of the procedures followed, before starting to perform the rituals of Hajj.

The UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office stated that with the start of the move towards the rituals in both Mona, Arafa and Muzdalifah, the medical committee is working to coordinate with the competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to benefit from all facilities and services provided by the Saudi authorities.

The office revealed the details of the third stage of the medical system, which begins immediately after the start of the move towards the sacred feelings, and includes providing specialized clinics for women and others for men in Mina, in addition to moving the mobile medical teams between campaigns and tents, and activating hot lines to communicate with pilgrims and campaigns to respond to urgent medical inquiries, in addition to the supervisory role of the field medical inspection teams concerned with verifying the activation and application of medical standards In every campaign.
