Muscat on the first of June / WAM / The total market value of the Gulf financial markets at the end of 2024 reached about 4.2 trillion US dollars, according to the latest statistics issued by the statistical center of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.

The general index of financial markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which measures the performance of Gulf financial markets as a bloc, in the year 2024 AD, recorded a slight growth of 0.7%.

The total market value of the Gulf financial markets witnessed a decrease of 4.4% compared to the end of 2023; About 3.5% of the total market value of global financial markets in the year 2024 AD.
