Amman Film Festival reveals the projects chosen in "Amman Film Manufacturers Days"

In the context of his continuous commitment to supporting talent and promoting cinematic narration in the region, he announced & quot; Amman Film Manufacturers & quot; (AFID), Professional Section at the Amman International Film Festival & ndash; The first movie, on the selection of 18 projects to participate in competitive projects marketing platforms within the sixth session of the festival, which will be held between 2-10 July next.

These platforms provide a space for Arab directors and producers to display their projects under development or in the post -production stage before a committee of professionals and experts, and to compete for financial and in -kind prizes presented by AFID partners and its supporters. The jury of this year includes: Tunisian producer Dora Bouchoucha, Burundian director Joseph Beetamba, Spanish critic and programmer Eduardo Guyot, Jordanian producer Linda Mutawa, and Saudi director Abdel Aziz Al -Shalahi.

The final projects were chosen out of 170 requests, based on the evaluation of a specialized committee to innovate the idea, technical vision, and productive capabilities. Bassam Al -Asaad, Director of Amman Film Manufacturing Days, said: & quot, “The selection of projects for this year was not easy at all, because the level of narration, vision and distinctive treatment of urgent issues in requests was very high. Every project carried a voice that deserves to be heard. Project marketing platforms continue to perform their pivotal role in AFID, as they only provide an opportunity to obtain prizes, but more importantly, provides an opportunity to communicate, develop and appear. We are proud to be a space that welcomes these voices and embraces their owners. & Quot;
